It is amazing how much the rainforests of the world give to our every day living. It is a shame that so many people are so neglegent with the resources of the rainforest. There are ways we can help at home and make a difference. We can only make a difference if we work together.

Hi Mrs. Zivko,
You will be glad to know that I have already done some research on my animal, the jaguar, and I learned that they are the biggest cats in Americas. The jaguar is the lord of the Myan jungle .Isn\’t that neat.

Can you think what these threats may be that affect rain forests?
Are there any solutions to this problem?
If these problems cost money to solve, who should pay?
Who (be specific) will be affected by the changes?

I think your website is cool because in the same way we can learn and have fun at the same time. I am learning a lot about my animal the sloth. I think I learned more than I think I already know. That\\\’s what I like about this website.

Dear Mrs.Zivko I know that people are destroying the rainforests.Tree distruction is a big probem, the trees are home to lots of animals.We use some of the plants to cure or help people with certain diseases.The rainforests are more important than we think.

Dear Mrs.Zivko I have to do some research on my animal. Some crocodiles live up to 98 years and most crocodiles eat very big fish. Fish are crocodiles\’ favorite food.

Dear Mrs.Zivko I know that you will be glad to know that I have done some more research on the crocodile and that it hunts its food in many different way. It lives in many different places in the rainforest. It eats very big fish and it likes to eat other fish and things too.

Hi Ms.Zivko I really like this website. I learned about my animal the Tarsier . I learned that my animal\’s eyes are really big and the tarsier lives in Southeast Asia. At first I really thought the rainforest was going to have a lot of nasty and ikey animals. Also I learned that my animal is most active at night. The tarsier looks creepy .

The most interesting fact I learned about xenops is when they mentioned that the xenops was found in Mexico. My animal makes a lot of noises to communicate. The xenops cathes his food by using his long beek. The xenops eats stuff like insects. It hunts by hammering open decaying branches with its bill. Their bill is dark, short, and pointed.

The most interesting fact I learned about the squirrel monkey is that it doesn\’t eat much, it only eats nuts, fruits, and insects. My animal has orange fur and makes funny looking faces. It is mostly black. I really like your blog it is really cool. I wonder what my grade is? I think it is good.
